First meeting

Meetings, including first meetings, are always no pressure. I listen to what your real estate needs are today and what your longer term goals and dreams are, too. It all matters.

  • If you are preparing to sell, I will ask to hear your desires and expectations, then share my perspective on the best strategy to market your house for a sale that is optimal for you.

  • If you are looking to buy a home, my job is similar: I will listen, ask questions to understand what is important to you, and share my perspective on the best path toward finding your new home.

My promise

I know buying a home may be the biggest investment of your life. Real estate transactions typically have many moving parts, and the process can be demanding and emotional. My calm demeanor helps keep things on the right track.

  • I will carefully consider your priorities and make sure we are on the same page every step of the way.

  • I will be persistent in keeping all parties (you, other agents, lenders, escrow) informed throughout the process. This helps you by keeping everyone focused to the timeline of your real estate transaction.

  • You can count on me to provide unwavering attention to detail in order to keep unwanted surprises out of your real estate experience.

My knowledge, service ethic, and industry expertise will help maximize the value of the home you are looking to buy or sell. I am ready to work for you.

First-time buyer or seller?

Buying or selling a home for the first time can seem daunting. I am here to help. Some people prefer to read up on the facts before deciding their first step. I'm happy to send more in-depth written information about the process, including a list of Seattle-specific tips and what you should know. Just call me (206-909-3474) or email (andrew@lakere.com).

My background

I feel lucky to call western Washington home. I was born, raised, and have lived in the Pacific Northwest for more than three decades. Over the last 12 years, Seattle has been my home and I've witnessed the ever-changing city and micro communities within.

I worked in construction while completing a B.A. the University of Washington, and that early experience has become a real advantage for my clients today. In the current competitive market, it does save time and money to be able to determine the overall condition of each home. My dad, who was a real estate appraiser for more than 40 years, may have had some influence on my investigative nature.

Today, I work with Lake & Company. The agents here are always collaborating and trying to help one another. We have a large network of contractors and service providers to cover your needs as a homeowner. Our designated broker, Jason Wall, is on the board for the NWMLS and works constantly to keep Lake & Company agents at the forefront of the ever-evolving residential real estate scene in Seattle.
